Hello – I am planning to Run Augusta 70.3 (September) in 2023 and then my first full marathon (Disney) the first week of January 2024.
Augusta is September 24th, but with Marathon training, I would need to start the plan September 3rd. What is the recommendation for training blocks? Do I drop the first 3 weeks of the Marathon training plan completely? If so, do I risk shooting myself in the foot for the marathon training by missing the first big block which includes a nearly 3 hour run?
Marathon goal is to finish, but I would like to finish well and not just survive.
