    Hi everyone,

I’m on the Half Marathon level 2 plan and will have the race next week.
The next race I want to run is on March 5th. Considering I’ll take a 2 weeks break for recovering, holidays etc. I’ll have only 8 weeks for preparing the race. Unfortunately there are no such short plans here, any advice on if and how I could arrange the plan to fit my need?

    Thank you!

    Hi Hero,

Your simplest approach in this situation is to reapply your plan with the new race day applied and follow the last 8 weeks of the training.

Keep your eye out in 2023 as we will be releasing bridge plans for situations like this but they are only up to 6 weeks. So in this situation my recommendation stands. Remember, you will have already built a good amount of fitness, so you don’t need to overdo things in that 8 week to have a good results at the second race. Those 2 weeks of rest will also be important to a good second build up.

    Hi Leyla,

Thanks for the advice, I’ll go for that then.
Your plan has been great for me so far, so I prefer to amend it rather than try one from other coaches.
Great news you’ll release bridge plans!
    Thanks for the good work.
