Hello , I have recently finished 80/20 40k time trial training plan and want to start preparing for my triathlon event. When I was looking for a new plan I found Olympic triathlon training plan by Matt Fitzgerald but it’s not signed as 80/20 plan. Is there any one ccould tell me what’s the difference between
80/20 plans and trainings signed by Matt?
One of your plan is from Your website- of course 😉 and is based on 80/20 method. The other one I have found on training peaks and is called Olympic-Distance Triathlon Training Plan – Level 1 or 2 and 3. I was just wondering whether they both are based on 80/20 method or not?
Tom, those are likely Matt’s legacy plans before he was introduced to the 80/20 concept. They were not written with a conscious understanding of the 80/20 principle, but they are still really good plans.
