Adapting Half-Marathon plan for 10 Miles?

    Hi, I came to the site from “Run Like a Pro (Even if You’re Slow)”, where it mentioned one could find the plans online. I’m hoping to adapt the Half-Marathon plan for 10 miles. I was wondering if I should just do the first 9 weeks of the plan. It looks like the 9th week is a rest week, so maybe that would serve as a taper? I tried searching the forum, but didn’t have any luck. Any advice would be much appreciated – thanks!

    That’s a great idea. In fact, I’d replace weeks 9 and 10 with weeks 14 and 15 would give a better taper than just ending at Week 9.
