B Race on non recovery week

    I am using the level 3 Ironman plan and am currently on week 15. I see that next week is a recovery week but I have an Olympic distance B race on Sunday of Week 17. How should I adjust Weeks 16 and 17 to half recovery weeks? Thanks!


    Yes this is a good approach to having a race on a non-transition week. Few days taper before your event, and then a few days with an active recovery focus afterwards. As its a shorter event it shouldn’t impact your training too much.
