Do you ever have those training cycles where you can’t seem to catch a break? After my scheduled 2 week running break in December, I was making good progress, until I ended up with covid in January. It wasn’t that bad, but it did set me back some. However, I was at least able to get back to where I left off. But then I ended up with an ingrown hair that really got infected. I had to have a doctor work on it. Because of the unfortunate location and the incision, I’m not supposed to run for a week.
Good grief! I’ve been great with strength training and injury prevention, but I keep getting derailed by other things. But I guess a week shouldn’t set me back that bad. Sorry, I just had to rant. All done. Hope your week is going well!
