Question about training zones. Why are the % for each zones different from the book compared to the calculator on the 80/20 website? for exemple, on the Threshold Pace for running, the book says for zone 1 its 60-70% while the website says 60-76%.

    Thanks

Nock, thanks for posting. Can you confirm which book and what page?

Its the Kindle version of 80/20 Triathlon purchased this month on Amazon. Kindle pages don’t really line up with real life but its table 6.2.

    Thanks

Nock, perfect, thanks. I’m holding a copy of the book now, and it’s 60-76% in the book. The Kindle and print copy are “supposed” to be from the same master copy.

Do you see this on an actual Kindle device, or on, say an iPad/Fire device where you can change the font and size? I just happen to be reading a book on a Kindle device right now (Les Misérables. Don’t panic! It’s the abridged version) and I note that it occasionally mixes a 6 and a 0 on the Kindle device, I’m hoping this is a similar issue.

If possible, can you test on a phone/ipad where you can zoom and change font and see if it still occurs there and send a screenshot? I can then report it to the publisher.
