I’m looking into marathon levels 0 and 1 as well as the endurance plans to “bulk” up my endurance I’m leaning towards level 1 on both as I have a few half marathons under my belt – but my question is this: in my zone 2 and zone X, my pace is way low… I’m talking 13-14 min miles. Is it important just to follow the timing of the runs or to actually cover a specific distance?

Follow the time on time based workouts. There are a few that are distance based, 5K/10K time Trial, Kong runs, for example. Majority of the workouts in the plan are time based.
