Gaps in Training

    I purchased 100mile level 1 8020 endurance plan few weeks back and have been following it almost 100% for 6 weeks. Yesterday I was detected Covid Positive with symptoms and obviously wont be able to run for at least a week. What is the best course of action for me in terms of adhering to the plan?

    Wishing you a full and comfortable recovery! For one week missed, I recommend you pick up where you left off, shifting the plan by a week. Then, after your next rest week, drop one of the weeks altogether to get back on track. The 100-mile plan follows a 3-week meso-cycle (hard week, hard, easy, hard, hard, easy…), so you’d just be compressing one of the cycles into 2 weeks (hard, easy, then back to hard, hard, easy…).
