Good Triathlon Watch?

    My only endurance sport is running, but I was talking with a cyclist friend who is showing an interest in triathlons. He was asking about good triathlon watches. I have the Garmin 245, which is great for a lot of things. But it doesn’t have a multisport mode. Are there any triathlon watches that you would recommend?

    I would recommend the Forerunner 935/945, 735, or 235 depending on budget. If budget allows, I’d also recommend the Fenix 6/7 as well. I’ve used the 235 and 935 for Bike/Running. I’ve also used the Fenix 6.

    The 945, which I use, is currently Garmin’s top Triathlon watch, but the rumor mill says a 955 is coming in a couple of weeks.
