snake, thanks for considering our plans. Although there is some full body in the run strength plans, it’s not much for upper body. It really is focusing on run performance. Other than core strength (which we have a separate plan for) upper body strength is most likely to cause extra weight without any additional run benefit.
Of course, not all runners want to have a runner’s physique! I’m not suggesting upper body strength is not good, it’s just not optimal for running.
No reason you can’t add in a core strength plan and then add in your own upper body regimen.
