    David,

Having worked through my plan once now (and having really liked it), I have signed up for another 70.3 in a few months. I live in the flat lands and my race will have significant bike and run elevation gains.

In the plan there was only one time where I did hill repeats (on the bike, not running) mostly because the other times it called for that (on the bike), I was still training indoors on my dumb trainer. I dont recall seeing any run workouts that called for hill repeats and maybe there is a reason for that.

Would you recommend doing a few workouts with repeats for both bike and run? If so, which workouts match up best for that? What frequency and duration would you recommend for doing such repeats?

    Thanks!

Curry, see our document How to Adjust Your 80/20 Training Plan for a Specific Course or Conditions

There still are limited hill repeats in your Tri plan, but not many. Regardless, you’ll want to adapt your training to match the specific demands of your event, which that document addresses.

    David
