HM level 3 premium strength – tips to shorten to 13 weeks

    Hi there –

    I purchased the level 3 premium HM strength plan, which is 18 weeks long. On another forum thread, I found the plans overall structure as:

    Week 1-3 Foundation/Base
    Week 4-16 Strength Block 1 and 2. Weeks 4-8 & 9-16
    Week 17 and 18 taper

    I currently have 13 weeks in between HMs – any tips on how best to modify / shorten the plan for 13 weeks? For example, cut one of the strength blocks (and, if so, which one)?

    Hi Nathan,
    The easiest way to have the strength plan match your reduced duration HM plan is to apply it with with the end date specified – it will then match up perfectly with your HM marathon plan and no further adjustment required. If however you feel that where the strength starts doesn’t match your current abilities, I would focus on the foundation phase for 1-3 weeks then Strength block 1, 2 weeks of strength block 2, and then Taper.
