I recently switched from HR to Pace based training, canceled the HR on Training Peaks and started a new Pace based one to finish at the same date as the previous one. The plan is Starting Out/Starting Over Level 2. I’m in week three and suddenly the next 10 days are HR based?! For example, RF24 on Tuesday was paces based but RF25 today was HR based, so will RF26, RFR2, RFF33 and ER5 but starting at week 5 it goes back to pace with RFR11!
I’ve checked twice and there is only one active training plan on TP – the pace based one. I even tried adding another pace based training but it seems that it indeed have 5 days of HR based training. Is this something that was supposed to happen or is my plan in TP broken somehow?
