I am 51 years old and usually do the Marathon L3 plan. My Marathon times range from 2:45h to 3h and I was wondering if it would be advisable to do the Marathon master plan instead of the normal one. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Marce,

This really depends. If you are finding your are not recovering well from the training load in the L3 plans, platueing or getting injuries then the Masters plan is a good option. It is designed to extend the training over 9 days instead of 7, building in more recovery time for injury prone and/or Masters Athletes.

    Cheers
