    Hello,
Being desperate to improve my swim times as I am about a 1.50-2.00 min per 100 meters guy at the moment.
So I have been looking at different advice and swim tip videos.
Anyone tried the Ocean Walker system for swimming?
If so does it work? Or is it just a gimmick?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Hi Alex
I don’t have first hand experience with the Ocean Walker Technique but I think he has a strong following. I also know he got a lot of inspiration from Terry Laughlin (RIP), founder of Total Immersion . I am a SwimMAstery (also with roots back to Terry) Advanced swim coach and also qualified as a TI Expert freestyle coach.
Where are you based because I may be able to put you in touch with one of the coaches in our network.
    Let me know
    Peter

I can’t speak personally for the ocean walker technique – I can say in my experience that particular technique is probably not for everyone.
Swimming technique and form is very individual, based on your your mobility, strength and body type.
For really good swimming advice I recommend following these swimming resources.
    Effortless Swimming https://effortlessswimming.com/about/ and
    Dan Daly https://www.traindaly.com/

I think you will find more practical advice from these 2 resources that you can apply to where you are in your swimming journey.

    Cheers
