Overlapping Training Plans

    Hope all is well with y’all.

    I got two 80/20 Ironman training plans scheduled for next year.

    Ironman 70.3 – On calendar from 1/9/2023 to 5/21/2023
    Ironman 144.6 – On calendar from 4/17/2023 to 9/24/2023

    As you can see starting 04/17, two training plans overlaps and kinda creates a mess with training!

    Is there a better way to view two plans or create a tag for 70.3 vs 144.6 plan? So I differentiate till 05/21 and then start with 144.6 plan?

    Looking at those race dates the best way to set this up would be to apply the 70.3 with the race end date of the 21st May. Then have an easy recovery week and then load the Ironman plan with the end date of the 24t the September starting on the 29th May that will give you 16 weeks to train for your Ironman after the 70.3. You can start a few weeks into the Ironman plan as you will have a good base of training from the 70.3. Just be sure to give yourself that recovery week (or 2) after your event.
