Fred, great question I’m glad you asked as this is a good topic to have on the forums.
For an individual workout, TP will give you a breakdown by custom zones. So if you are reviewing an individual workout on the dashboard, you’ll see the 80/20 Zones of 1, 2, X, 3 etc.
For a TP Dashboard view of multiple workouts (over 7, 30, 90 days…) TP just converts your custom zones to the number of zone buckets you have defined, which results in:
80/20 Zone 1 = 1
2 = 2
X = 3
3 = 4
Y = 5
4 = 6
80/20 Zone 5 = 7
If you were using a zone system that only had 5 zones, for example, you’d only see 5 buckets in your dashboard.
So, it’s a cosmetic thing, but they still line up. Why does TP do it this way? I don’t know…
