    Hi All,
My primary event is coming up in a week. After that I will have no events.planned besides some sprint distance triathlons. Next year I’m planning on doing IMLP in July. However between now and January what plan should a pick? I would prefer no more than 1 cardio event per day since I do want to pick the weights back up this fall too. Any suggestions??

    P,

You’ll find a variety of off-season/pre-season plans in our Maintenance, Goal-Focused, Racing Weight, Strength and Mobility, Cycling and Stride Academy plans. Each plan caters to a specific need or weakness that you might have, and they range from 6 to 12 weeks in length. You can do one after the other, and even mix and match to target more than one goal at a time. I suspect that at least one or two of these plans are perfect for you.

The Maintenance plan sounds like it might be too much per day, but the Cycling TT and Swim Strong plan combined might work well first, followed by a run-specific plan.

The Run Faster plan is another great plan to focus on run speed.

So, it all depends on your goals, strengths, and weaknesses.

See https://www.8020endurance.com/training-plans/ for a complete list.

Finally, you could create a mini-season between now and January with a 10K or similar event.
