Hi, A while ago,I read an article on this site regarding recovery after a 70.3 race, but now I can’t find it. Please could someone point me in the right direction to the article.
    I’ve a 70.3 B race then 14 weeks later a 70.3 A race.
    Kind regards
    Lesley 😊

I don’t know anything about the article, unfortunately. However, I did a marathon recovery plan that was written up by a running coach. It was basically alternating walking and easy (minimal resistance) stationary biking every other day. No running until there was no soreness remaining. Then, really easy and short runs at first. I can try to find the actual plan. I knows your race was a triathlon, but hopefully this helps.

    Hey Lesley,
Don’t believe we have an article specifically on our site regarding 70.3 recovery but I’m sure there has been a forum post about it. There is decent break between your 2 races, but the first race will fall inside your A race training plan (unless you are doing the B races as its own even before starting another block of training for your A race?) I always recommend about a week of reduced training volume and intensity following a 70.3 event to recovery actively while still training – if it is part of a training block. I recommend 2 weeks of recovery/rest if it is an A race.
