I started Level 1 Marathon Plan 17 weeks before my race and I’m currently on Week 7. How should I adjust the plan to account for one less week of training?

    Hi Shubb,

The first few weeks of training on our marathon plan are general preparation, so if you have progressed through to Week 7 of the plan you don’t need to make any adjusts at this stage. Be sure to have the plan applied to end on your race date, so that it builds, peaks and tapers at the right time for your event.

    Cheers

    Hi Leyla,

I should clarify that I haven’t skipped any weeks as of yet. I’m now starting week 10 of the plan, and have shifted my plan in TrainingPeaks, removing week 11. Does that make the most sense to adjust by 1 week? This results in my plan ending on my race date.

As long as your applied plan ends on your race date you will not need to make any adjustments.
