Just wondering if u see any flaws in my plan. I’ve been tri training consistently for 20 years. Last race was a half in 10/20. We bought a place we’ve been turning into a homestead over the past year so I took the year off racing. My weekly training has been 1 to 2 times a week of each sport at less than an hour each session at low intensity but I work outside all day covering 10 miles a day on foot so I’ve remained active. My max has always been 3x per week each sport so I always do level 1. I was going to get back into training consistently and build to starting the Olympic level 1 first week of October training for a 10 k in January. Then take the recommendation of 2 weeks of 4 hours training then restart Olympic plan preparing for a spring Olympic then the 2 weeks off and restart Olympic for a late summer tri.

It seems the only real question here is whether you have enough time to get ready to start the Level 1 Olympic plan by early October, and by the sound of it, you do. But it’s not the end of the world if it turns out to be too much too soon. In that case you’ll just need to dial back a bit initially.
