Hi, I am getting close to Marathon Plan completion and my race that will take place in 2 weeks time.
6 weeks after I am starting another Marathon traning for next race.
In between of those 2 Marathon trainings I wanted to have a Run Faster plan with 10K low priority race last weekend just before start of next Marathon plan. I’m intended to run for longer distances as main races – Half or Full Marathon. So this 10K is more for fun. I’m not planning any great achievements there. Thus not using 10K preparation plan. It’s more to see how I’ve improved using Run Faster Plan as now I’d say that it’s my weak point.
And last but not least thing is that I will need to have 1 week rest\recovery after Marathon that I’ll take 15th of May.

    So in terms of dates:
    – Spring Marathon – May, 15th
    – Start of Run Faster L2 plan – Probably May 22nd (shifted to Sunday to be able to race on Saturday)
    – 10K race – June, 265h *10K race – May, 25th (Saturday)
    – Start of Autumn Marathon traning – June, 27th (26th will be day off and 27th is Z1 recovery run that is fine to take rest before start of Marathon Plan)

And question is – all these dates and timelines mean that I have 5 weeks instead of 7 weeks for Run Faster Plan. Would you recommend to skip initial 2 weeks or last 2 weeks? Or something in between?

    Thank you in advance!

I’d recommend doing the first 5 weeks of the Run Faster Plan.

Thank you very much for your advice!
