Run Like A Pro plan questions

    Hi, I apologize if this has been answered somewhere… I promise I looked around!

    I’m enjoying the Run Like A Pro book and training plan (11 weeks in!) — I think it’s exactly what I needed. I have a few questions about the Level 3 training plan.

    – week 13 Sunday: is it 12 mi @ MP? Looks like Level 2 has 15 mi @ MP.

    – week 14 Sunday: is it just 10 miles that day?

    – will I get cooked by Coach Ben’s Favorite Workout two weeks before race day?

    Hi Brian,

    Here are your answers:

    – That is correct. It’s one easier workout in the context of a plan that’s harder over all.

    – Yes, 10 miles with 6 at half-marathon pace. Not an easy workout.

    – No. Assuming you’ve been consistent in your training up to this point, it will take you all of three days to fully recover from that workout.
