Run longer ?

    Hello,

    I like to go for a 15km run on Sunday mornings.

    In preparation for my half-marathon, the “Half Marathon Level 0 over 15 weeks” program often suggests shorter running outings on Sundays.

    Can I extend this run, or do I really need to achieve the duration of this training?

    I would recommend following the plan for the race you are training for.  That being said, the mileage will be building through the 15 weeks in order to build fitness and endurance while sticking with the 80/20 balance.  If you feel like you want to bump up to the level 1 plan, you can always make that adjustment.  Whichever plan you choose, I would recommend following the workouts for the best result.
