Strength Options

    I am going to start using the level 1 Marathon training plan after my half-marathon in June. This race will be in October. I am wondering what opinions there are for the strength package I should use. I have been working on my swim and just got a road bike so I’ll start riding that as well. I wanted to focus on the run more since it will be my first full marathon but should I use a triathlon strength plan since I am already working on some of that and plan to do tri’s next year or go with the marathon strength training now and switch to tri next year? I’m not sure how much the two differ. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I would recommend using the accompanying marathon strength plan to match with your current training focus.
