I’m doing HM 1 and I’m about 2 weeks out from my half. I’ve got RHM7 (Half-Marathon Pace Run) on the schedule for Saturday and it looks to be a very important run, but it looks like we’ve got thunderstorms on tap all day Saturday and Sunday won’t work logistically. The weather is clear tomorrow, so I could do RHM7 tomorrow after work and move tomorrow’s foundation run on the treadmill Saturday. Sound good? All I know is I *REALLY* don’t wanna do RHM7 on a treadmill lol.

Guess I should mention that I did R5K1 (5K Pace Intervals) early this morning, so I’d have about 30-ish hours of recovery before doing the race pace run. No soreness or anything from today’s workout.

Generally it wouldn’t be a good idea to do several higher-intensity workouts on back to back days. But if you’re feeling good (i.e. not overly fatigued) I would go for it, swapping the workouts. That’s what I would do in that situation, at least.
