Let’s say the plan calls for a long run on the 7th, and then a cut back week following. You can’t do the long run on the 7th due to Life Obligations, but you can fit in the shorter cut back run on the 7th, and you can totally do the long run on the 14th.
Do you just swap the two runs?
Or you swap the entire week?
I’ve been following 80/20 all year, and so far I’ve just been swapping the long runs. It’s been ok, but I’m wondering what others have been doing. Am I wasting the recovery ability of a cut back by capping it off with a long run? Or I am worrying about minor details since this hasn’t been an issue so far?
