Swimming pool closed

    I’m doing the 16 week Level 0 triathlon plan. I’m in Week 7. I just found out that the pool at my gym is going to be closed for the next 2 months. Any suggestions for substituting other activities in place of swimming on my schedule? My weakest area is cycling, so I am inclined to cycle in place of swimming, but I am not sure how to decide what cycling workout to do in the substitute days.


    Unfortunately, this is an issue that occurs a lot!
    My suggestion would be to focus on your weakest discipline, in this case cycling, by adding in some foundation rides. Incorporating strength workouts with focus on the upper body, will also help.

    There are some dry land exercises that can be utilized to help with swim strength and technique that may also be beneficial. There are several sources you can find on YouTube!
