Time in easy vs. hard

    Is there a way on TrainingPeaks to tell how much time you are spending in the “easy” range vs. the “hard” range? We are supposed to be doing 80/20, it would be nice to know how close we are getting to that.

    I can do it by hand by just using the time in power zones chart and adding up Zones 1&2 for the “easy” part, and Zones X, 3, Y, 4 & 5 for the hard part. But it seems like there should be a way to configure on of the widgets to do it automatically for you.

    The good news is that all of the hard work has been done for you with the creation of the plans already built around the 80/20 balance.

    Sure, sometimes you might see 75/25, sometimes it might be 82/ 18, or even 79/21 but the overall balance is within the 80/20 parameters.   The most important thing is knowing that the majority of your work is Z1 & 2 while the remainder is in Zone X and above.

    Stick with the plan as it’s written and you’ll have no problem being in the correct balance.
