    Hi,
I’m following the 70.3 Level 1 training plan, and am now in week 10- i’m really loving the 80/20 plan. Warning- i’m about to geek out with this question! I am overtraining a little versus the plan due to longer swims and rides- overall i’m still around 80% z1/z2. The impact of this overtraining is that my fitness level is increasing (20 in wk1 to 700 in wk10) at a good incline, but so is my fatigue (20 in wk1 to 106 in wk10), and so my form is hovering around -25. and wonder how I can update the training peaks dashboard (i’m overtraining a little versus the plan) so it estimates my remaining training fitness level and fatigue better, or wonder if I need to adjust the plan somehow to take into account some more training load. I’m feeling good about the training, but wonder if I should adjust my taper or just stick with the plan for the taper? Does is make sense what i’m asking?

Marty, thanks for posting. Your question absolutely makes sense. Can I request that you first review our document Understanding and Adjusting Your Performance Management Chart at https://www.8020endurance.com/your-performance-management-chart-is-lying-to-you/ Once you’ve read that and made the adjustments to your PMC and plan, come back here and post your followup questions.
