Unable to get structured swim workouts to Garmin Forerunner

    My bike and run workouts are syncing with my Garmin devices, however, I’ve been unable to get my swim workouts to my watch. How can I do this?

    TrainingPeaks currently doesn’t support the auto export of swim workouts to Garmin Devices.
    In the meantime, we have manually created 80/20 swim workouts for you to export and use on your device with our 80/20 Workout Library.https://www.8020endurance.com/8020-workout-library/

    I tried that as well to no avail. Garmin support said I have to create the workouts manually. If I attempt to upload through Garmin Connect I get the following error: One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance. It seems as if Garmin is only accepting completed workout files.

    The files can’t be loaded to Garmin Connect but can be loaded directly to your Garmin Device.
