My question is where to progress next – I did the level 2 half marathon plan, ran two half marathons this fall, PRing my time by 10min which I was very happy about. I then moved onto the level 1 speed plan to allow for more days off and/or cross training and have really enjoyed that plan, which is finished next week.
I’m looking to run 3-4 half marathons in 2022 with the first most likely being in May 2022. My goal is to move from a 1:59 half to about a 1:45
I’m not sure whether it is worth to repeat the speed plan right away, choose an endurance build plan or maintenance plan prior to beginning the half marathon plan again.
Any thoughts on this are very welcome – thank you!
