What to do between two IM 70.3

    I just completed my first IM 70.3 of the season. I timed my training plan so it would end the day of the race and my next IM 70.3 is in 8 weeks. What parts of my training plan should I repeat to improve my fitness for the next race?

    Wes, sorry for the delay. Take a week off after the first 70.3. By “off” I mean no real formal plan, train as you feel, but no running and probably less than 6 hours of swim and bike.

    Then, load the last 7 weeks of the plan. You’re fitness after the first race will be more than enough to jump into that point in the plan, and the distance between the two events is long enough that you can afford another full taper.
